The Leadership Award is presented to a senior executive who has demonstrated exemplary leadership.

Please note that the deadline for submissions has now past.  Please see below for the list of recipients.

The Award:

The recipient receives a Leadership Plaque, which is presented at the OANHSS Annual Meeting & Convention. A donation of $500.00 is also made on behalf of the recipient to a charity of his/her choice. The recipient will also receive a complimentary Convention registration and will be reimbursed for travel and accommodation expenses incurred while attending the Convention.

Nominating Procedures:

To be considered for the Leadership Award, the candidate must be nominated by an individual associated with OANHSS. The nomination must have two seconders who are involved in long term care.

Selection Process:

A subcommittee appointed by the OANHSS Board of Directors will select the winner from among the nominations.

Notification and Presentation:

Winners will be notified in advance of the OANHSS Annual Meeting & Convention. The presentation of the awards takes place at the OANHSS Annual Meeting & Convention (click on link for more information).
