Infrastructure Ontario is helping not-for-profit long term care homes deal with their infrastructure development challenges. Hear about recent partnerships, including a presentation from St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre in Cornwall on how the organization benefitted from accessing financing through the OSIFA Loan Program.
Other topics will include project eligibility, financing options and the advantages of debt financing.
Objectives:
Find out about the advantages of long-term debt financing and the financial options available through Infrastructure Ontario's OSIFA Loan Program and how they compare to other lenders.
Discuss the business case evaluation of a loan and understand what Infrastructure Ontario looks for to expedite the loan process.
Learn from an administrator about the challenges of going through the RFP process vs. the OSIFA program.
Steve Rohacek, vice-president, Business Development and Customer Relations, Infrastructure Ontario, has more than 20 years of progressive experience developing and implementing business development and marketing strategies in both the private and public sectors. He leads Infrastructure Ontario’s efforts to help its broader public sector partners develop and finance infrastructure projects.
Bonnie Ruest is executive director of St. Joseph's Continuing Care Centre in Cornwall – the first not-for-profit organization to have a loan approved.
Lawrence Grant is executive director of The Glebe Centre in Ottawa.
