The Leader’s Role in Mental Health

Management staff and employees all have a role to play in workplace health and productivity. This session will examine the factors that affect health, absenteeism and disability, the role leaders have in employee health and how they can effectively engage employees in managing their own health and productivity.
Objectives:
Understand the role of management staff, unions and HR in supporting employee health, i.e. chronic diseases, physical and mental health.
Find out which factors lead to absenteeism, presenteeism and disability.
Discover the process for engaging employees in managing their own health and learn how to access tools that support your role in health and productivity.
