Long Term Care Common Assessment – The Way Forward

Whether your organization is an MDS early-adopter or is not yet on board, this session is a must. For those coming on, knowing what works and what to avoid will smooth the way. For homes that are already implementing the system, planning to maintain it post implementation is essential. In this timely session you will learn about the value of this common assessment system, not just for care but in providing critical data for making decisions about quality improvement interventions and strategic directions.

Research and data management leaders will crystallize the value of the detailed data reports generated by MDS assessments. Members of the project team will offer information about the roll-out plans, support provided to all homes and answer questions from IT, clinical, training and management perspectives. Regardless of your organization’s stage of implementation, you will gain valuable tips on how to identify and conquer the challenges along the way.
